I found a really great message board on e-online. I posted my story, and got tons of looks and a fair amount of comments. If the over 1200 people that looked at my posting actually went the The View website and left a comment for Bill, the producer, that would be fab!

- Hello All. Here's the skinny. I have three children, 30, 24 and 22. I have two completely yummy granddaughters. I love music; especially country music, I wish I read more, I enjoy some reality shows; mostly the talent ones. My Grandma Bell taught me how to knit and crochet when I was quite young, and because I have so much extra time, I've decided to give blogging a try. Of course I'm being facetious... After living for 51 years, I've recently realized that it's up to me, and there are good people out there!

write a few paragraphs to choose from for people to cut/paste into that link you want us to vote for you on, then it's very easy for people to help + say exactly what you want said.
get a local tv news station interested in a short segment.
ask people with entertainment blogs t o write about you. put your segment on YOUTUBE + put it on this blog + others in addition to the links you have to it.
it's an extreme longshot, but keep at it if you want it
Fantastic advice. I have been trying to work with local tv stations, but they are not interested. I do have a Newsday reporter interested, and he may be writing a piece about me. I never thought about the entertainment blogs. I'll give that a shot. Thank you!

I agree with MODMOM's idea of voting. That's always fun and easy to do.
